18 Beautiful Affirmations to Feel Grateful
There’s nothing better than starting the day feeling grateful, or going to sleep feeling grateful. Life is just more beautiful this way.
But unfortunately, most people are not very grateful today for many reasons. Maybe it’s because they are not where they want to be yet, or they feel like something is missing in their lives.
Well, if that’s you, I can tell you that feeling grateful helps with anything, no matter what you’re going through.
Thankfully, there are ways to make ourselves feel grateful, even if sometimes things don’t look so good—and a great way to do it is with affirmations.
So today, I’m going to give you a list of affirmations I created that you can use to feel grateful, and I’m going to show you how to maximize their effectiveness.

Why feel grateful?
There are many reasons you should want to feel grateful. There are many benefits to it too.
It doesn’t matter what you are going through, good or bad, feeling grateful will always make your life better.
For example, if you are going through something bad in your life right now, feeling grateful will help a lot. Instead of focusing on the bad, you will focus on the good you have, making whatever situation you are in feel less heavy.
Just think about how much worse your life could be if you didn’t have the things you already have.
Even if you are satisfied with your life right now, feeling grateful will make it even better. You will focus on everything good you have, and you will understand every day how blessed you are because of all the things you have. And of course, you will eventually attract even more good into your life.
Gratitude and manifestation
If you are someone who wants to manifest something in your life, feeling grateful is one of the most important things to make the process easier.
When you feel grateful for the things you already have in your life, you are constantly feeding your subconscious mind with beautiful thoughts and ideas, which are going to make you vibrate in a frequency of gratitude, and this frequency is going to attract even more good things in your life for you to feel even more grateful.
So the moment you feel grateful, you are aligning yourself with the frequency of good coming into your life. So the easier it will be for your manifestation to come, because all your feelings of lack are blocked.
How to use affirmations to feel grateful
Affirmations are great, and they work. Many people have used them to change their lives, but they only work if you know how to use them right.
The first thing you have to know in order to make them actually effective is you have to choose the ones that really speak to you.
So find one or more affirmations that speak to you, that when you are repeating them it just feels right. You will know it’s the one when you see it — there’s no thinking, it just feels right.
Another very important thing is when you are repeating them, you should be in a quiet place, relaxed, where no one can disturb you, preferably before you sleep or after you wake up. And when you are repeating them, you can’t repeat them like a robot, mindlessly.
You really must feel the truth of what you are affirming and enjoy the feelings of gratitude that come to you as much as you can.
Your only goal is to enjoy the feelings that come to you, to get completely lost in the wonderful feelings of gratitude. Keep repeating the affirmations audibly, gently and mindfully. Do this until you feel satisfied.
By experience, I can tell you affirmations are more powerful if you repeat them audibly. It doesn’t have to be loud, and even just moving your lips as if you are speaking can work.
Important Before Repeating
Before starting to repeat these affirmations, it’s helpful to think about all the things in your life that you didn’t have before but wanted, and now have. Or think about things that, if they suddenly disappeared from your life, you would greatly miss.
By doing this, you will start giving value to the things you already have in your life, and that will put you in a mood of gratitude.
This way, even before you start repeating the affirmations, you are already in a mood of gratitude, and it will make the practice even more powerful because all your thoughts of lack are blocked.
I’d also like to mention that you can change the affirmations to make them fit your liking more. If you believe in God, you can say, for example, “Thank you Father.” If you believe in the Universe, swap the word “Father” for “Universe” instead. If you prefer, just use “Thank you.”
I used many different terms when creating these affirmations so they can please everyone and their different beliefs. Now it’s up to you. Do what feels right, that’s what’s going to work.
Now to the affirmations.
